01
Start with three journeys, not thirty hotels
Write down the places you most want to visit, plus your arrival and departure points. Group nearby plans into the same day. Then compare two possible bases by the journeys they create. This is a more useful first filter than a long list of rooms with similar photographs.
02
Turn “near transport” into a route you can check
Open the official BTS route planner and match it with the property’s address. Look at the walk to the entrance, the line you would use and any changes. For journeys beyond that network, check the relevant operator separately. Do not assume that every hotel using a Sukhumvit label has the same station access.
03
Give a river stay a return plan
Before choosing a riverside property, confirm the nearby pier or other transport and how you would return after an evening out. If a hotel advertises a shuttle, verify its timetable and any charge with the property. You can then decide whether the view and facilities suit your daily plans.
04
Compare the whole reservation
Shortlist rooms for your actual dates and group. Compare the total payable amount, room type, breakfast, occupancy and cancellation deadline. Check the time zone used for that deadline. Save the final conditions and booking confirmation; support for the reservation is handled by the booking provider.
Your shortlist, checked
- The exact address works for your daily plans.
- The room category fits every guest, including children.
- The total price and inclusions are clear.
- You have read the cancellation deadline and payment terms.
- You know which provider handles booking support.
